With November just around the corner that means one thing… Rugby!

This year’s Autumn Internationals kick off on the 4th with the Japan vs Australia match first up. Scotland first turn on the field takes place a week later when our boys go head to head with Samoa on the 11th. Held at the cities very own Murrayfield Stadium the city centre is sure to be teaming with saltire flags and the faint hum of the Flower of Scotland in the air. Not to forget our neighbours England, Wales and Ireland will also be donning boots for the first time on the 11th.

Week three will see Scotland go up against the world champions, the number one ranked team in the world, rugby royalty… New Zealand on the 18th. Having never beaten the All Blacks team in test rugby our boys in blue will be looking for a history making victory! Hoping to follow in the footsteps of the Scotland 7’s team who became to first Scottish team ever to beat New Zealand back in May.

Finishing off Scotland’s trio of matches the team will face off against the Aussies on the 25th. Last time these two teams meet the Australian team was defeated on home turf in an epic 24-19 victory for Scotland. The Aussies will certainly be determined to get their own back when they rematch on Scotland’s home ground. Scotland however won’t go down without a fight having lost by one point to the boys from down under on two occasions our team will be fighting to repeat their Sydney victory.

Of course Scotland aren’t the only British teams facing some tough challenges in this year’s tests; Wales will also go up against the mighty All Blacks on the 25th and both England and Ireland will compete against Australia.
